Professional training of women is one of the most important aims of Women´s Resourse Center.
When starting this project, we were planning to
expand our activity in helping women from vulnerable layers of society such as single
women, single mothers, widows, poor, unemployed, as well as women-invalids,
women in need of retraining, the youth without professional education, solving
the problems of unemployment by providing them with the opportunities of
professional and technical education.
Social condition, life conditions of women from
the vulnerable layers of society are improved with the help of educational
courses which contribute to their economical integration and decreasing of
poverty level. The name of the project perfectly reflects the aim of the
project: Akniet is a way from isolation to active
involvement of people into the life of society.
Today, in our
We always monitor the changes in the world of
professions; the quantity of educational programs will
grow. On the completion of the course, the students will receive a certificate
of international standard and a qualification, as a result of which they will
be able to begin their independent professional activity in the selected area.

There is a «Social week» included
into the program of training, with seminars, lectures on the topics, ranging
from the rights of people on land to the health risks. The purpose of this week
is to raise the level of confidence of women and teach them to act
independently. Participation in the training «Let’s
choose leadership» gives the participants an opportunity to use the habits and skills
acquired at the seminar for social adjustment to the life of their communities,
job placement, adjustment to the working community, efficient communication,
career growth.

1. Level – this level contains all the necessary information about the profession. It teaches you all the main basic skills of a hair-dresser.
2. Level – this level presents you some additional information, practical knowledge, ensuring the quality of service for the clients of a saloon.
Course – Sewing mastery Teaching is held on the basis of the standard designing method, which enables you to use any teaching materials on design, modeling and sewing. During the period of study we will teach you three main stages:· Designing – constructing, cutting out.
· Modeling – designing or choosing the style.
· Sewing – methods of processing the garment.
Women of various professions, housewives, students, those who have elementary level of knowledge in mathematics, painting and drawing will find the largest part of the material related to the methods and techniques of processing, which will let them make a garment look good, be durable and save the form.
On the courses «Seamstress-Cutter» women are
taught to make measurements, design, and model. In addition to this they are trained
in using technologies of processing.
The course begins with the figure
measuring, where we use some additional measurements for the more exact design.
Then we construct a skirt and go
right next to its modeling.
The next topic is designing and
modeling of a dress and a set-in sleeve. Then we go to the design of trousers.
All the cutting outs are made in the real size according to the measurements.
Designing
of collars, rules for cutting out, technology of the hand-made works are
included into the list of compulsory themes to study.
There are also time allocated for
the study of fashion magazines, i.e. women learn to use the cutting outs from
any magazine to sew for their families and for themselves. Before sewing a
garment, women learn the technology of tacking in a zipper, hidden zipper,
processing of different types of pockets, fly fronts.
The participants of the course will
learn the technology of sewing of such garments as a skirt, trousers, dress (of
any model).
Depending on the wish and work experience
they will also learn to sew a costume with a lining and other garments.
At the end of any large topics, women take an exam, there is held an individual work to control the knowledge of the students. At the end of the course there will be arranged special examination to control the level of knowledge. On the completion of the course you will get the Certificates of International Standard!! The best students of the course will get a reference from the Educational Center Course - Accounting + 1Ñ: Accounting
